Activating automatic decline of absence requests from employees with an insufficient time bank balance

Access: Configuration > Business > Configuration > Business options > Requests management

This option, available for time banks only, automatically declines absence requests from employees with an insufficient time bank balance.

 

How does it work?

When an employee submits an absence request, the application first checks the available balance in their time bank.
If the balance is insufficient, the request is declined, and the employee is notified.

What's the benefit?

Automatically declining absence requests when the balance is insufficient helps ensure rigorous management of time banks.

It also allows managers to review the situation before approving an hmtoggle_plus1anticipated balance for an employee requesting time off.

An anticipated balance refers to hours paid in advance (borrowing from hours the employee will accumulate in the future)
when they don’t have enough time banked.

Steps

1Check the Validate available balances box.

2Click on Save.
